National Association of Professional Child Photographers

The Best Photography Summit You Can Attend

Professional photography summits and workshops remain one of the hottest tickets in the creative industry, because who doesn’t want their business to thrive? An effective strategy for business is key in growing and maintaining a successful photography business in today’s market, and many of these strategies carry a hefty price. Luckily, there is a highly effectual association, the National Association of Professional Child Photographers, that makes its amazing body of knowledge highly available and accessible. And the best news? They want all to be successful so they make a point not to put too big of a dent in the wallets of their fellow creatives.

We recently hosted NAPCP’s 2019 Educational Summit and we want to give you a behind-the-scenes look.

Here is where you can still purchase the summit materials and speaker courses.

Park Studios Events: NAPCP International Image Competition Winners Exhibition

Artistry is often synonymous with creativity, so it’s no surprise this gorgeous photography exhibition presented by the National Association of Professional Child Photographers was hosted right here at Park Studios. Much like the award winning photographs presented, the guests who attended this breathtaking event represented many different media and types of art. Keep scrolling for a behind-the-scenes look at setup, beautifully ribboned images — printed and matted by Musea, and an intimate champagne hour before the event opened to the public. Put on during the Atlanta Celebrates Photography festival, we’re declaring this gallery a work of art in and of itself.

Studio Review: Ashley Berrie Photography

My first time shooting in Park Studios was for a personal session for my 9 month old. I take pictures of him every day around our house or out and about, but for this session, I was looking for a blank canvas. I wanted a location that wouldn’t be distracting, something timeless that I could produce beautiful wall art with.

I came across Park Studios after hearing about it through NAPCP (National Association of Professional Child Photographers) and I knew it was exactly what I was looking for! The experience, from booking to shooting, was seamless. I brought a ton of stuff to the studio but ended up using the studio’s existing rug and chair that was already there.

I was so pleased with the entire experience, and especially these pictures of my little boy! Thank you, Park Studios! I can’t wait to bring my clients back here.

NAPCP’s New Creative Space

Park Studios is elated to be the site of the new offices of the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP). This clean and light-filled space serves as an ideal area, free of clutter, to allow ideas to flow and flourish.

For the past decade, Alice and Kyu Park, of Alice Park Photography, NAPCP, and now Park Studios, knew they wanted a space for their creative ventures to flourish. More than that, somewhere that would encourage other artists and entrepreneurs in their businesses and crafts as well. So when they found the Buckhead property that now houses the new NAPCP office, they wasted no time.

We love that the majority of this space is dedicated to areas in which to collaborate and gather, and that there is an entire nook cleverly designed for the children and parents of NAPCP to relax and spend time together. Alice and Kyu knew they wanted a space that would work with the open concept Alice craved, and also that would reflect the value the Parks and NAPCP place on teamwork.

It is our hope that the NAPCP team will stay motivated because they love their jobs, are always experiencing new types of creativity, are learning new things, and are having fun! What a beautiful vision. Best wishes to you, NAPCP, as you move forward on this exciting, fresh path!
